Fics like faded polaroids; forever can be nothing with you

“Pirozhkis are savoury,” Trey tells him and starts pulling out ingredients like it’s not about to make a new mess. Cater resigns himself to his janitorial fate. Then he processes Trey’s words and frowns. “What, like, unsweet?” “That’s what savoury means, yeah,” he says with a laugh. “After all, you don’t like sweets, do you?” What the fuck? —— i will forever be indignant that they cut out my precious character development tart scene out of the anime so this is a missing scene fic: trey and cater clean together and talk and hold each other a little bit accountable, maybe.
