“You know, I never saw these,” Buck says, trying to sound light. “You've been missing out,” Tommy says, blinking and turning a little in his seat so he's facing Buck more directly. “How—” “I didn't know you'd be here,” Buck admits. “Is it okay?” Tommy nods slowly, sliding his phone into his pocket. “Yeah, of course. How've you been?” Buck winces and throws a couple of kernals of popcorn into his mouth. “Okay, I guess? Actually not. I don't know, it's—I’m fine.” “Uh-huh,” Tommy says slowly, clearly not believing him. “Why don't you get back to me about that in a few hours?” “Okay,” Buck says, holding the popcorn bucket toward him. “We can share.” “Okay,” Tommy agrees, grabbing a couple pieces. -- Buck decides to go to the movies and sees Tommy there.
