Fics like in another life

Rain drips down the slope of Pete's nose, over his full lips. He's lying on his scarred cheek, pressing that sensitive and intimate part of himself down on Ray's shoulder. He shifts his face, rubbing his hair against the bare skin of Ray's neck, sending shivers through his entire body. Ray adjusts himself as subtly as he can. Accidentally squeezes Pete's muscular shoulder a little bit. Prays that he won't notice. Watches, holding his breath, as Pete keeps dreaming. Wonders if he's dreaming about a stocky, sweaty redhead, hauling bales of hay in the stuffy Maine spring. --- In which Ray watches Pete sleep, and dreams about another life.
