Fics like The Blind Leading the Blind

“Welcome to Fatui House.” Sandrone raises her mug in mock salute and sneers. “It’s a crap hole here.” Rosalyne lets out another annoyed noise but the new girl doesn’t really react. She just tilts her head to the side as she continues to pet the border collie in her lap. “Is that so? It’s a really nice crap hole if that’s the case.” The sneer on Sandrone’s face melts into a scowl. Oooookay. So not just a weird name, but a weirdo in general. Greeeaaat, just what the dorms needed. And she still hasn’t taken off those stupid sunglasses of hers, despite being indoors, in the dead of night. For some reason, that annoys Sandrone more than anything else. What is her deal? Seriously. Is it some sort of hipster thing to just wear your shades at all times now or– Oh. The sunglasses. The dog. The off-center staring. It all comes together in Sandrone’s mind. With a start, it suddenly hits her. She’s blind. --- A new student transfers mid-semester into Fatui House. Sandrone is sure she wants nothing to do with her, but Columbina has other ideas. 7/17/2026 update: Doing some soft re-writes and additions to some scenes.
