“Your bat gave me a surprise last night,” Will continues, voice low. Dustin shifts uncomfortably. “Will—” “But there’s something you didn't tell me,” Will says, stopping and staring at Dustin, as he sinks back into his pillow. “Something kind of crucial.” He leans forward slightly, lowering his voice even more, turning the words into a furious whisper. “You didn’t care to tell me that he’s a… vampire.” or; Will starts college with unexpected excitement. His roommate is funny, if a little strange. But when he ends up in the infirmary with a broken arm, asking Will to look after his pet, a damn bat, Will is pulled into a situation that is anything but ordinary.
