Fics like Desert Meets Steel

Old Ben fights and finds enlightenment out in the sandy expanse. He meets Death as an old friend, knowing it is his time. The Skywalkers, of course, disagree. Obi-Wan Kenobi is punted back to his first Illum trip with all of the experience and wisdom of his old life after he has come to terms with everything and is basically an actual old wise-man. He blames (correctly) the Skywalkers and their ridiculousness for this, but realized he can change events and help lots of people. He is Ben Skywalker, and he has people to protect... but he's also eleven, and that's a tough age.
