Fics like just say yes

Instead of packing her things away and leaving, Lucy pulls something out of her bag. As she returns to stand in front of him, she’s shaking her head gently, and Tim’s never felt more confused in his life. He’s frozen, still down on one knee, the velvet box still outstretched in his trembling grip. The confusion only grows when he clocks the watery smile adorning her face. He has no idea what’s happening right now. But then his eyes flick down, and he finds there’s a small velvet box in her hands, too. Or: When they booked this vacation, Tim knew it would be the perfect place to ask Lucy to marry him. As it turns out, Lucy had the same idea. Chenford proposal one-shot.
