Fics like The Wilderness: Book 1 of The Bardweave Trilogy

The Bardweave Trilogy is a semi-canonical, story-driven, angsty, slow-build-to-the-smut, romance with healthy doses of comedy and ensemble dynamics. PoV is half and half between Tav and Gale, with flashbacks, as well as lots of attention paid to non-ship characters and their interconnecting dynamics. Check the dang tags. <3 Some favorites from the comments: - "You’ve captured their voices and mannerisms so well; even though it’s a story I know, it’s told from a fresh perspective." - "Gale was my first romance and this is bringing me right back to the magic of that first playthrough." - "The interwoven stories of Tav's revenge and Gale's love and loss is haunting and intriguing. And the romance is superb." - "I laughed. And I cried, a lot. You are such a visceral writer, it's like you're just listening into their dialogue and inner thoughts and simply conveying it, it feels so incredibly REAL." - "And now emotionally destroyed. Roll a D6 for emotional damage." - "My heart has now not only been broken… but crushed into dust. And blown away into the Fugue Plane." - "This series is gonna hold a special place in my heart. Beautifully done, 10/10, chefs kiss"
