Fics like A Hallmark Christmas

Lucifer was looking for a change. One that slowed everything down and gave him peace in his new found loneliness after his divorce. His daughter wanted nothing to do with him, blaming him for the divorce. All his friends couldn’t understand why he needed to leave and move across the country. Alastor moved back from New York to run his Maman’s restaurant. He thought it was what he wanted, but he couldn’t find happiness in the mundane. He would never admit to feeling like an outlier in his own home town, but after being gone for so long and all his childhood friends have moved on. What was left for him here that he couldn’t find in New York either? Enter a few days before Christmas. A depressed man meets a lonely one. Instead of camaraderie, they find an enemy. But the town doesn’t quite agree. Could these two find solace in each other or are the doomed to be childish rivals for the rest of their miserable lives.
