Fics like "Please"

"Roy, this is stupid," Jason grumbles, yanking off his jacket and chucking it at the floor. Roy picks it up without missing a beat, putting it on the coat hanger where it belongs. "No, Jason, this is necessary," Roy returns calmly. Jason wants to beat that patient expression off his face with a baseball bat. Or maybe a crowbar. A growl builds low in his throat, and he pulls angrily at his chest harness. "Calm the fuck down," Roy orders, Alpha command in his voice. Jason's growl quiets, then picks back up again twice as loud when Jason realizes Roy's affect on him. "And this is why you need to be on standby," Roy sighs. Or: Jason's rut is approaching, and he's not dealing with it well. But have no fear, for Roy Harper is here!
