The hero looked sad about what she had said. Not angry, just sad, which was the complete opposite of what she had intended. The shield had the Hylian crest painted on the front, a pair of wings spread out beneath the Triforce. It was wooden, so it wouldn't do much against fire, but it was better than what Midna had been expecting. Which was nothing. Now that she thought about it, she expected nothing from the hero other than for him to exist.
