What do you want me to say?” Langdon looks at her carefully, “Well, I was hoping you would tell me that the headlines were taking things out of context. That you didn’t break your ankle on purpose, and your coach wasn’t… what he was, and that your friend didn’t kill herself because of the sport,” He sighs, “But, I think your reaction answers that,” He presses his lips together and smiles sympathetically. Trinity keeps her eyes on the computer, “Put your daughter in soccer.” And with that, she pushes her chair out and turns to walk away from this conversation. —or: Trinity learned a long time ago that secrets are safer than people.
