Fics like New Year, New Party

You’re mid-laugh, feeling pleasantly buzzed and unexpectedly at ease, when the kitchen door opens again. You glance up automatically and catch sight of someone you don’t recognize. Tall, dark hair, glasses catching the light as he pauses just inside the doorway, eyes flicking around like he’s bracing himself for impact. He looks vaguely overwhelmed, hands shoved into his pockets, expression caught somewhere between curious and resigned. For just a second, your eyes meet. He blinks. You blink back. Then Dino leans over and whispers, “Oh, that’s Wonwoo. He lives here.” You nod slowly, still watching as he reaches for a drink, shoulders relaxing just a fraction, before he retreats back throughthe doorway as quiet as he arrived. “Good to know,” you murmur.
