Fics like i'll stay here forever (and a day)

Dennis really hates that his first thought is one of immediate discontentment at the notion that Robby is at all upset with him. The hatred soon turns to shame and embarrassment when he really realizes just how worked up he’s gotten himself these past few days. He feels it all at once: the anxiety for his future, the constant fear of making an irreversible mistake, the shame over this stupid schoolboy crush on his attending, and most of all, a smothering feeling of anger for himself. Anger that he can’t do everything at once, anger that he might be throwing away everything he’s worked for because he can’t find time to study for this stupid exam. And he’s even more angry when he feels his bottom lip begin to quiver and his eyes welling up with tears. Right in front of Dr. Robby. Or: Dennis panics about an upcoming exam. Robby invites him to his home to study.
