Fics like life and death will always lead you into love and regret

All Dane could think of was how incredibly beautiful he looked. To just stand there, bathing in the sunlight without anything covering his face, his starry shimmering wings spreading behind him. He looked like an angel of death. And if he was, Dane would willingly welcome his entry to the gates of hell. To meet his demise by having the privilege to see Finn in his entirety like this without any hindrance would be the greatest honor. It didn’t matter how far he was. Beholding the part of his soul that was taken away from him was already enough to send him to his fatal end. Come to me. Kiss me and hold me in front of all your soldiers who want me dead. Pull me close and stab me in the chest. I don’t care anymore. Please. I’m dying.
