Fics like You Came Here To Save Me

When Nancy shoots the sphere (aka the exotic matter) in S5EP05, Steve is on the roof as well and gets sucked into the matter. He gets thrown out in the year 1978, nine years before S5, some floors below in the Hawkins Lab. or: Steve accidentally time-travels into the past, to the time of the children-experiments and one year before the massacre. While he is held hostage in the Lab, he needs to protect baby Eleven and all the other kids (if they like it or not), try to not tell Brenner and his soldiers too much about the future and also work with the blooming obsession of noone else than Vecna/Henry Creel himself. Easy, right?
