Fics like By Mistake, To You

When Kate accidentally sends a Christmas card through her UNIT mail, she doesn’t expect it to reach a soldier she’s never met. Christofer, deployed with the British Army, receives her words by chance, and what starts as a simple, mistaken message grows into something neither of them anticipated. Across letters and quiet exchanges, they begin to discover each other, not just the soldier and the UNIT commander, but the people behind the roles, the stories, and the distance between them. In the small rhythms of correspondence, friendship, curiosity, and something deeper slowly takes shape, proving that even amidst war, connection can be found in the most unexpected ways.
