Fics like Weaver

You've lived with Elder Ta'dana on Yautja Prime since you can remember, apprenticed under her to become the only human to learn the secrets of forging the alloy d'lex. Another clan wants that knowledge, so what better way to acquire it than to send the heir of the clan to partake in the Summer Celebrations.~ Ta'dana watches his sole eye flick over to where her human forge master hammers away at a piece of d'lex. She watches as his stance changes, something stubborn setting in his shoulders and the way his mandibles tighten, brow furrowed. “You want her.” It is a statement, not a question, but Vek'ra nods anyway, hands twitching at the sides. “Sei-i, Elder. And I plan to prove myself to her,” he rumbles and then cuts his eye back to the imposing female, “to you as well, if I must.”
