Revenant (n): one who returns, especially after a long absence or death As the Wildfire Virus went global and society began to collapse, the military initiated Operation: Cobalt in a last-ditch effort to quell the rapidly-expanding ranks of the infected. When the order came down to sacrifice civilians for the sake of their own survival, however, there were some who refused to comply, resigning themselves to the same fate as those they were charged to protect. Weeks later, winter is quickly approaching and Rick and his ragtag group of survivors are growing weary of life on the road. When a chance encounter leads them to one of these surviving military outposts, they begin to hope for a future in this dangerous new world. But keeping everyone alive and safe in a world where the dead rise requires sacrifice. When the line between hope and despair stretches thin, the slightest shift in balance may be enough to push humanity to the brink. Begins Post-Season Two GLACIAL Slow Burn with Eventual Daryl/OC
