He was holding a knife, a hungry, wild expression – The man's face. That thing’s mask stared back at him. The makeup on the other man: pale white skin, the diamonds around the eyes, the lipstick, the exaggerated eyebrows. The same mask he'd thrown in the dumpster. “Cesare.” Tim felt something shift in his mind as he spoke the name. Something hidden in the attic, creaking down a ladder.
