Fics like empire state of mind

Chenle lowers his camera slightly, not wanting to miss anything by looking through the lens. His palms are sweating even more now, making the camera slippery in his grip. Spider-Man straightens up and turns— Their eyes meet. At least, Chenle thinks they do. It's impossible to tell through the mask, but Spider-Man's head tilts slightly, and Chenle feels pinned in place by what he imagines is his gaze. His throat goes completely dry. The camera suddenly feels massive and obvious in his hands, like he's been caught doing something he shouldn't. Spider-Man raises one gloved hand—not quite a wave, more like an acknowledgment—and Chenle's heart does something complicated and painful in his chest. He lifts his own hand automatically, a jerky half-wave that makes him immediately want to disappear into the ground.
