Fics like The Highest Bidder

Post-TLJ, the Force bond won’t close. Rey and Kylo Ren remain connected across the galaxy, and despite everything, they can’t stop talking to each other. About war. About right and wrong. About each other. The arguments should push them apart—they pull them closer instead. Then she’s ambushed on Nar Shaddaa, and Rey learns exactly how far the Supreme Leader will go to get her back. Some decisions dirty your hands. Some choices have no right answers. And some monsters will burn the galaxy down before they let you die. A canon divergence story exploring moral complexity, the cost of war, and what happens when enemies fall in love across battle lines.
