Fics like What a Sanctuary (for the sceleratus)

As their second summer together begins with Professor and student settling into their new residence in a small Scottish hamlet both magical and muggle, Harry and Severus struggle with their own internal dilemmas. Harry's nightmares of Cedric have now been replaced by dreams of his late Godfather and the veiled archway, intensifying his survivor's guilt and grief. Severus wants nothing more than to offer what help and comfort he can, but he finds himself hesitant to do so while Harry is unknowing of his own involvement in the prophecy that started everything. The weeks bleed away. Confessions are made, secrets are unearthed, and the line in the sand between mere formalities and something almost familial blurs in the tide that is the new school semester, which is somehow filled with more threats than ever before as someone seems to be trying, not to break into the school, but to steal Harry out of it...
