Fics like Yellow Brick Bandits

Twelve years ago, the Vinkus rose up and defied the Wizard’s rule. Their rebellion was put down swiftly and violently to serve as an example for the rest of Oz. In the chaos, the king and queen were killed, and their young son vanished, though everyone with a lick of sense presumed he had died as well. Now, Elphaba Thropp has just defied the Wizard herself, and she’s turned her broom westward, hoping to find the sparks of a new revolution where the last one failed. Instead, she finds even more trouble when she becomes entangled with a motley band of thieves and their reckless, cavalier, and maddeningly handsome leader whose wanted posters all call him “the Scarecrow.”
