Fics like Slick As A Baby Seal

Brienne of Tarth deserves EVERYTHING and this story is here to give it to her. She has survived bears, battles, and a lifetime of cruel mockery. She's learned to bury her heart beneath armor and duty and never hope for the impossible - that someone might actually want or desire her - just as she is, just how she looks. Enter Tormund Giantsbane: Relentless. Shameless. Staring at her like she hung the moon, with eyes full of raw hunger and something far more dangerous: reverence. "You're a beauty," he tells her, and she wants to hate him for the lie. But what if it isn't a lie? In the harsh, frozen North, two stubborn hearts ignite a fire that cannot be extinguished. Because sometimes the bravest thing a warrior can do is lower her sword and open her heart. This story begins shortly after Brienne arrives at Castle Black. It is my interpretation and expansion of the greatest ship that never was. Canon divergent as of season 7. Season 8 does not exist.
