Fics like An Unwanted Assignment

After Peter crashes the jet while fighting the Vulture and a lot of negotiating on Fury’s end, Tony allows S.H.I.E.L.D. to take over the responsibility of Peter’s actions as Spider-Man. And, much to her frustration, Fury picks Maria Hill to be Peter's handler and to oversee his training. She’s rough on him, maybe a little too rough. But when a new threat attacks S.H.I.E.L.D.'s New York HQ, Peter ends up saying Maria’s life. And she ends up being more than just grateful.
