Fics like It Was Never A Fair Fight

"Heard from someone, you can't win on anything when your enemy is your boyfriend. Is it true?" When a rude comment from another trainee sparks a wave of insecurity, Suren finds himself spiraling. Between the stress of the 'Hot' performance and the pressure of the survival show, he ends up taking it out on the one person he loves most, Zihao. An argument about privilege, skills, and "payola" tears them apart in the practice room, but a desperate run to the emergency stairwell might just put them back together. Or, Suren and Zihao fight, cry, and make out in a stairwell while their friends guard the door.
