Fics like Holiday Chaos: A Christmas Tale (As Told by Hank, Against His Will)

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the precinct, not a creature was stirring except me, questioning all my life choices. I’m Detective Hank Griffin, and I’m here to tell the tale. Not because I want to..oh no...but apparently I’m the only adult left in this building. Nick: “HEY, I AM AN ADULT...” Hank: No you’re not. Nick: “WELL, I DIDN’T MEAN FOR THINGS TO GET… COMPLICATED!” Hank: Exactly. THIS is why I need therapy. Anyway. This is the story of: a supposedly simple undercover operation that went spectacularly sideways, a certain detective who can’t keep his mouth shut when higher-ups are involved, some holiday chaos that may or may not have been entirely preventable, and two very stubborn men making everyone question how the department even survives. It’s a Christmas story. A love story. A cautionary tale. And proof that calling in sick is sometimes the smartest choice. Nick: “HANK PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS...” Hank: Oh, I’m posting it. It’s my only compensation. Merry Christmas. Send help.
