Fics like Inverted Colors

“Um, how are you feeling? I tried to treat you as best I could, but I’m not a doctor, obviously. Ha, ha,” there’s an awkward pause. Avery hates awkward pauses. “Oh uh- my name is-” “Avery,” the knight interrupts. Avery blinks at him. “You, uh, you know my name? Sorry, do we know each other?” Avery hadn’t recognized him. The knight shifts. “...Do we- I don’t…” He takes a moment to continue, “...I know you.” That’s not ominous at all. Avery feels a little caught off guard, here. “Right… I don’t recognize your armor. What’s your name?” The knight takes a beat to respond. “I don’t… I can’t remember what it is.” Avery raises an eyebrow - well, the slime above his left eye. “You remember my name, but not your own?” “...Yes.” =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= After the information overloads his brain, D3rlord3 can’t remember anything. Except for Avery. Avery just wanted to get away from the city server for a bit. He finds a guy passed out in a mine he didn’t make.
