Fics like The Mysterious Malady of Madison Miller

Selena is your ordinary lonely goth trans lesbian with an extensive collection of crystals. So, perfectly ordinary already, right? At least, she had thought so, until a chance moonlit meeting with Madison, a strange college student who dresses like she's on her way to a suburban Catholic church and has much, much more going on with her than her appearance would suggest. The night may be young, but the profound and feral hunger gnawing at what remains of Madison's soul is not. Note: while the overall aim of this work is to focus on the budding relationship of two women and provide lots of fluffy romantic flair, the story does deal with very real and heavy themes, including instances of transphobia and discussions between trans characters that center around oppression and loss. At the risk of spoiling my own work, however, regardless of what the characters go through, it will ultimately have a happy (if bittersweet) ending for our protagonists. And there will be so, so much girlkissing along the way. Enjoy. :)
