Fics like A Smoking Gun

“…He gave Robin to Damian,” Tim finally says. Jason freezes mid-step, like the world has lagged around him. “…What do you mean he gave Robin to Damian?” Tim sighs, letting the binoculars drop against his chest. “I mean, he didn’t ask me. He just handed it over.” Jason turns fully toward him. “You didn’t give it up?” Tim barks a humourless little laugh. “Why would I have done that?” ····•···· “What are you— would you stop trying to hit me?” Dick snaps. Jason laughs, bitter and sharp. “Remember all those times you tried to beat the shit out of me whenever I upset Timbers?” “You mean those times when I totally did beat the hell out of you?” Dick says, rolling his shoulders like it's nothing. Jason ignores that. Of course he does. Always has to act like he's better. “I thought I’d follow your lead,” Jason says. •··········•··········• OR: Bruce is back from the dead but that doesn’t mean all is well. Dick has fucked things up royally with Tim and Jason isn’t here for it. •··········•··········• Can be read as a standalone, but is a chronological follow-up in a series
