Three doctors from Pittsburgh Memorial, abrasive Alpha Robby Robinavitch, calculating Alpha Jack Abbot, and anxious Omega Dennis Whittaker, can barely stand each other. Forced to attend a medical conference together as a hospital PR stunt overseas to improve the hospital's image, their plane crashes en route, leaving them the only survivors stranded on an uncharted island in the North Atlantic. Thrown together by disaster, they must cooperate in order to survive, confronting both the island’s challenges and their own emotional baggage. Old rivalries and hospital hierarchies dissolve as they share their vulnerabilities, learn to trust one another, and discover strengths and vulnerabilities they never showed at work. Isolation, passion, and renewed respects towards each man awaken unexpected attraction. As sexual tension boils over, each man invites intimacy, leading to all three joining together in a loving relationship. Together, as the months pass and rescue seems unlikely, they build a new life, growing food, making a home, and forging a genuine, loving bond.
