Fics like something, somehow, someday

Abby wants Max. Max wants Abby. How complicated could this really be? On another one of her drinking binges, Abby calls Max in a panic, breaking their three month silence. Of course, Max is quick to come and save her. But how can they move past this? Do they go back to normal? Was this just a one off, old friends needing each other in the moment? Or will something more bubble to the surface?
