Fics like Your Eyes Tell

Jeongguk stares at himself in the mirror, eyes blank, expressionless. That’s not me, that’s not me, that’s not me. Imposter. Who are you? He reaches his hand up, devoid of color, to press against the cold glass. He swears the reflection is seconds behind him, hesitant in its movements. The reflection doesn’t even look like him, skin pale like he hasn’t seen the sun in years, and eyes sunken in with dark circles around them. His cheeks are slowly starting to hollow out, his other hand coming up to trace the lines. Is that me? - Jeongguk hasn’t felt like himself in years—mostly because every time he looks in the mirror, someone else is staring back, waiting to take his place. Just as he's on the edge, Yoongi appears to grab him back, grounding him in ways he didn’t think were possible. Yoongi stitches him back together… only to be the one who tears him apart in the end.
