Vincent has lost everything, his fame, his accomplishments, his entire life. Loss can drive a man to become something he'd never thought he'd be, like hopelessly in love with the man who saved his afterlife. Alastor has become everything to him, his rock, his mentor, his best friend, and his one true love. Of course, Alastor doesn't know that, Vox is hesitant to admit it to even himself. But as the years pass, Vox realizes that of all the spoils Hell has to offer, he'll always choose Alastor. —^—^— The 1950s are a dull decade for Alastor, until a TV-headed stranger falls at his feet. Curiosity can drive a man to do things he'd never thought he'd do, like drag a wounded man home and nurse him back to health. Vox becomes more than just an amusement to Alastor, their shared experiences and love for entertainment bonds them closer than he ever would have expected. Closer than he's comfortable with. And as the years pass, Alastor realizes that if he has to choose between Vox's companionship and his own wellbeing, he'll always choose himself. Basically a sparksduo backstory with lots of romantic AND platonic yearning!!!
