Fics like The Sol of The Forest

. . . It had been done. Ori had gathered as many shards of Seir as he could. It had been a long and arduous battle, but Shriek was defeated. With a twinge of regret, they approached the dying tree... for the sake of those lost to the decay, for the sake of his sister, the Spirit Willow will be restored. . . There's just, one thing left to do. With his light, Niwen was saved. The decay had faded, life carried on, but the world forever remembered what had been lost that day. The life of the Spirit who saved two forests, the life of a beloved son and older brother. He was gone, but will never be forgotten. . . Except . . . Within the depths of the Spirit Willow's seemingly infinite wellspring of light, Ori's Soul remained. Empowering the world he fought so hard to protect, until one day . . . Through Seir's roots, a cry was heard across time and space. One in need of help. A dire strand of illness, infecting and eroding the lives and roots of another tree and her offspring. Ever determined to help those in need of it, Ori accepted the call, and for the third time, a miracle had occurred.
