Fics like Your Local Weatherman Should Not Be Doing This

In 1940s Louisiana, television darling Vincent Whittman is climbing his way to the top by any means necessary....including several that are highly illegal and extremely impolite. When his path crosses with Alastor Hartfelt, radio’s golden-voiced sweetheart and a man with a disturbingly similar talent for getting blood on his hands, things stop being simple very quickly. What starts as professional politeness turns into a partnership of convenience… and then into something neither of them is particularly prepared to unpack. One kills for control. One kills because he wants to. America just thinks they’re charming.
