Fics like Behind blue eyes
On the 21st November 2023, Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish was killed in action in the Eurotunnel, 7km off the coast of Folkestone. Except the heavily redacted report is all a lie and the emotional scattering of his ashes is all an act. This is the story of how he survives, how the 141 fake his death, and how he recovers - with Ghost right by his side. A realistic fic about Soap recovering from a traumatic brain injury and discovering which parts of himself are left, and which parts Makarov stole from him. Full of hurt and comfort, angst and humour, this is a slow burn Ghost/Soap getting together fic with a happy ending.
