Fics like long as god can grow it

As he looked in the mirror, he saw the caring concentration on Elizabeth's face as she brushed his hair. He tried to not wince as his scalp was tugged. He had never given much thought to what grew out of his head. Once Victor left, it started growing and would not stop. As far as he could tell, it did not do anything. It was the one part of his body that seemed to have a mind of its own. "What is its purpose?" “Hair, you mean?” He gave a small nod, trying to tamp down his embarrassment for asking such an elementary question. Elizabeth, however, treated it as any other question, as if he had asked for the time. "We're mammals. We all have it somewhere. In animals, it covers their whole bodies for warmth. For us, it simply prefers our heads most of all.” Us. The word struck him. To Elizabeth, he was no different from her. In doing this act, she was letting him into a part of her existence. Something private, unseen by the outside world. He was willing to go wherever she would lead him. - Elizabeth washes The Creature's hair. He learns what it means to feel beautiful.
