Fics like You would find me at the beach / In every life, through every door

The engagement ring dangled there, simple but unmistakably theirs. The light caught on it, refracting in soft glints that danced over his fingers. The words, ‘In every lifetime,’ were engraved on the inside. “You still haven’t told me what this is made of,” Tim said, eyes soft and curious. “It’s not any metal I recognize. I didn’t test it because I didn’t want to break it.” “Maybe I’ll tell you tonight,” Kon said, brushing a thumb along Tim’s jaw. “We’re still going to that pizza place, right?” Tim hummed, nodding faintly. “Yeah. Only restaurant on the west coast that makes it right.” He yawned against Kon’s chest, voice dropping to a sleepy murmur. “Still can’t believe we both got the same day off.” “I know,” Kon said with a grin in his voice. “We’re lucky.” -- or, in which tim and kon get the same day off and spend it together.
