Fics like Positive Reinforcement

You need them to be afraid of you, just a little. But if all you ever use is the stick, what you end up with is a frightened, hateful thing. Hiding its failure to avoid punishment. Cringing away from imaginary blows. Waiting for the right moment to bite back. Punishment alone doesn't work on anything smart. A hateful thing isn’t loyal. It doesn’t love you. It just doesn’t want to get hit. Now that Guy had seen the consequences for misbehaving, it was time to show him what he got for being good. Jasper tries a little positive reinforcement on Guy.
