Fics like Fragile Life

Louis’ ashes were still gripped tight within his hand. Owen breathed, staring at them, trying to keep his feelings from overwhelming him. His rage at what the humans had done. His rage at their cruelty, both to Louis and to him. His rage at being an outcast his entire life, at finally having a place to belong but having it torn away from him. After all Oakhurst did, it deserved to burn. Even two-hundred years later, his hatred towards them raged. These humans that came, that settled, would only perpetuate the cycle of violence. They would spread their hatred of everything other, of everything different, until another pyre burned in the center of town. Avid was already crying about vampires, denouncing them as a threat, as dangerous monsters. The others laughed for now, but what would they do when they knew the truth? He knew what it was to be an outcast. To be other. It was only a matter of time before they turned on him. He wanted to slaughter them all before that happened.
