Sunny has just finished the penultimate level of the retro video game he's playing when something brushes against his left foot. At first he hardly even notices it, too pumped up from the boss fight, but when the thing—whatever it is—curls around his ankle and starts to pull at it gently but insistently, the video game-induced hyperfocus finally shatters and Sunny glances down. His annoyed frown immediately morphs into wide-eyed shock. There's a black tentacle around his ankle. "What the—" he yelps and tries to kick his leg free, but pulling against the thing only seems to make it stronger—the strain almost makes him pull a muscle in his leg. "What the fuck!" Because what else can he say in a situation like this?
