Fics like Grow Up (A little bit slower)

“Tim you need to grow up, it was nearly 6 months ago now, he wasn’t in his right mind. He is my son and he deserves a place here.” “You scared I’m gonna finish the job replacement?,” Jason asked, and Tim’s hands instinctively touched the scar on his throat. “Dad, please,” Tim begged, tears filling his eyes, “Can’t we just... wait a bit? Maybe a year? It’s just- it's so soon. I can’t-” Bruce held up his hand, and so Tim stopped speaking. “This was never up to you Timothy, this is my house, Jason will stay if he wants, he’s my son.” “But what about me!!? Why don’t I matter??? I’m your son too!!!” or; Bruce and Jason take their baby bird for granted, Dick comes to rescue him.
