Fics like On the bright western shore

After sacrificing himself for his children at Eregion, Adar’s spirit is waiting in the Unseen realm. But waiting for what? On the western shore of Middle Earth, Círdan is doomed to watch all his kind depart without him, and to wait for the end of the world. Alone. Or perhaps not alone, after all. (This might be the ending Adar deserved...) The alternative title for this fic (in my head) is Frog and Toad Retire to the Seaside, Because the Best Revenge Against Sauron is Just Denying Him the Attention He Craves.
