Fourteen year old Jessie Walker is an exceptionally bright young man, growing up in a society where a minority male population uses institutional mind control to keep the majority female population firmly under control. As a talented self-taught hypnotist, the world is Jessie's oyster. Women, money, power, there's very little that is beyond his grasp. But being raised by a single mother has given him a unique perspective on the world. Determined to be better than the father who abandoned him, Jessie has stepped up as the head of his household, claiming his thirty two year old mother and sixteen year old sister as his slaves, against the laws of society. Having recently moved to the small, mostly female town of Willow Creek, Jessie will work hard to establish a life and a harem he can be proud of, and raise a family with the love and compassion he never received from his own father. What does it mean in such a world to be an ethical hypnotist? Jessie intends to find out.
