Fics like Caught in the Rain

Ryoma has always felt like something was missing. When he meets the cheerful and tenacious Musashi, it seems like he’s a step closer to filling the void. It feels like making a new friend and more like meeting an old one. But as soon as their bond is cemented, they encounter a monster. A tall, tall man whose head brushes the sky, whose long black hair falls thick over his face, who can slice through anything with his long, delicate fingers. A man who appears anywhere the rain touches. A man who, thankfully, cannot see them unless the rain is falling on them. The specter calls their names in a strangled voice. He begs them to take him with him. “Ryo… Musashi… this time, together…” (Reincarnation AU gone wrong.)
