Fics like found and forgotten ~ yaelokre short story

"I began to spend every night with them, and we’d wander off to simply sit and sing together. They began to rest their head on my shoulder more and more often, and I let them. I flinched less and less every time. And then, one day, as the sun was high and my friends and I were frolicking and playing together, my curly-haired, freckled, beautiful friend lightly touched the back of my hand with theirs. I flinched slightly, as I do when anyone touches me, but I let them keep trying. I held my breath as our fingers intertwined. Their silver eyes were already looking down at our hands when I did the same, but they flicked up to meet mine. A small smile spread across their lips." ~ OR ~ a little story about my head cannons of Cole + Clemmie, the world they live in, and their bond <3
