Fics like Lost in Love

Emperor Nefarious is defeated, and Rivet is finally reunited with the family and species she's never known, finding new friends and partners along the way. It's a new chapter for her life, one that Ratchet is more than happy to help her navigate, including assisting her and Polaris' new emerging government in cleaning up the rest of the Empire's forces holding out across the galaxy. But as it becomes evident that their fast friendship is developing into something more, everyone else must ask... When the hell will they realize it themselves? At the same, the consequences of Ratchet's arrival are finally rippling the Lombaxes' future, prompting the Council to force Chief Wells of the Lombax City Guard into finally turning around her inept police force or else. Luckily, Kaden is more than happy to assist her, if not to stick it to a certain Councilman leading the charge against Wells. However, his deepening friendship with Chief Wells begins bringing up feelings he hasn't experienced in many years; not since his wife was killed in the Great Exodus, leading himself to begin asking the uncomfortable question... Can he really move on from the love that was taken from him all those years ago?
