Fics like Some Things Are Repairable, Others Aren't

After the Straw Hats are all killed while fighting against the World, Luffy wakes up in his twelve year old body, changed after years of imprisonment and abuse in the Abyss. No longer capable of becoming "Straw Hat Luffy", no longer recognizable to the person he had been, he decides a different fate, to sail with Ace and find Sabo. Fate has a funny way of reshackling him, though. And some things, some experiences, you just can't heal from.
